Both had beats and lyrics but Em was bigger that year so he gets the edge. Hell, Jay was bigger than Ghost that year. Nelly was bigger than ghost.

Why the hell is Black Rob not an option? He had the song of the year.
Ghost went gold though right? Does it really matter that someone else sold more? Especially when Ghost album is so much better.

:ohhh:You got a point about Black Rob.

Man who cares about the impact, popularity and sales in 2000? We got 2016 now, doesn't matter!

Em had a MONSTER year, became the most popular rapper worldwide, sold millions and millions of records. BUT when I listen to MMLP today, much of it is cheesy and cringeworthy, production isn't topnotch throughout

Jay-Z (more in the US) and Nelly (worldwide) were the other 2 superpopular rappers with huge hit records, but do their songs/albums from 2000 really go that hard?

Now I listen to Scarface's Last Of A Dying Breed or Outkast's Stankonia and that shyt sounds fresh, gritty, soulful, profound, timeless. Incredible rappers over tasty beats

How the fukk would anyone vote for Eminem or Jay-Z??
