I love Once Upon a Time in the West, but outside of the time it takes theres nothing outstanding or GOATly about the opening scene.

Hard Boileds teahouse shootout ending with chow yun fat blowing dudes head off point blank and getting a face full of blood is the best one not mentioned imo.

Belly, Apocalypse Now, Inglorious Basterds, and Goodfellas are also favorites.

that scene is incredible. One of my favorites in cinema history. Christoph Waltz acting was

Probably not the best action but it set the tone to get you into the game to want revenge. Damn Sega for teasing us Americans in part 1 and part 2 to fight Landi. Then not making part 3.

All 3 are a little too long to post, but since were talking video games I'm surprised no one mentioned God of War yet, 1 or 2...haven't played 3 but if the first 2 are any indication.
