@ProfessionallyTrill Buying a luxury car with tons a miles IF YOUR BROKE is a recepie for disaster. Any repairs for the car will cost a SMALL FORTUNE. Daily routine maintenance is EXPENSIVE. If you can't afford luxury, use that 7K and get a fairly used Japanese luxury (Acura TL, Accord, Nissan Maxima).

Or you can just get a new corrola. Those are still nice and affordable.

This is easily the best advice in this entire thread. Buying a used German car with a ton of miles is just asking to be part of a never-ending nightmare. I have a friend who actually owns his own car-repair shop and bought a used Audi A8 a few years ago. He had it for about three months and sold it. When I asked him what happened to it, he told me he had to get something fixed - forgot what it was - and for something he normally charges $200 tops to fix, he had to take it to the dealership and they wanted $3,800. He said then he'd never buy another German car unless he was filthy rich.

Take that $7,000 and get a nice used Accord, Camry or 6. I've owned a few luxury cars and trust me, after awhile, they just become transportation from point A to B.

Appreciate all the advice. Smarter minds are prevailing.

Looking for a good Jap-mobile and should be driving off with something Monday.

Hopefully :sadcam:

Gonna have to save just in case tranny or anything goes but its nice and at least I'm not paying $200 a week anymore for this rental Ford Fiesta :skip:
my math teacher in H.S. had an 03' Type-S, he used to stunt on the other teachers and show off every chance he got.
it's dope though. that's when Acura had coupes in their lineup... now they don't have shyt like that anymore. :snoop:

That's what's up Breh :myman:

I'm gonna do a few cosmetic changes (depo headlights, blacked tails, hid kit, maybe black grille). The tint on it is only 50% :scust: but it will have to do until I have some savings under my belt

Helllll No.

$80k 12 cylinder VW worth $7k in less then 10 years.... There's a reason they're very rare.

This was a major flop, good luck taking this to your local VW dealer let alone your local mech to get fixed...

Talmbout "it's a W12 turbo, 12 cylinders breh same as in the Bentley GT" :krs:

Take your $7k VW to get fixed at the Bentley/Lamborghini dealership & they give you the :mjpls: thinking you just lowered their property value by pulling up in an old Passat :russ:

Reading is fundamental I swear it is. You must completely glossed over the part when I said "Im not looking to sell an arm and an ass cheek if something breaks"

:stopitslime: and you act them joints didn't have a v8 option as well. I made no mention of the W12. When I brought up the Bentley reference it was it was more a comparison of all the accoutrements of that boss status interior of the phaeton, its a big ass ultra luxury cruiser not a grand tourer like the bently gt.

You are right about the service part tho, I hear vw dealerships had to have specially trained technicians and equipment to service them which many don't have anymore.

It flopped because it was an ultra luxury whip without a prestigious badge on it but that doesn't change the fact that the phaeton is a whole lotta car for 7 grand. Its just a nightmare I wouldn't want to maintain without my cheddar being up.
