I think it was an "I thought I had a short set, but now I have like 20 extra minutes to fill" situation.

Probably gave him that slot so they had some time to figure out the rest of the line-up.

He has a great catalog that the vast majority of the audience knows, songs are upbeat, keep the energy up, etc. Good choice for that kind of scenario.

the nas and lauryn hill performance was lackluster

anyways, I will come back after watching the rest of these performances on youtube

I only really saw the Nas, Funk Flex set, French Montana and MMG (who closed out) and they were all weak

My pick will probably be nobody
