Not a fan of the horror genre, but this is the last one I saw that I actually liked.

So what if it came out in 2008

The only horror movies I liked last year were Tucker & Dale VS Evil and The Woman.
Scream and Paranormal Activity 3 both fell apart with their endings which ruined both films for me.

'The Skin We Live In' is the closest I've seen to a top quality horror film in the last couple of years, and its only partially a horror.

I'm not sure if it's horror but check out stake land

I liked stakeland, not well known actors but they did a good job, even tho it was another vampire hunter movie.

I've also seen and recommend "the woman in black" pretty decent movie, had me jump a few times just because of the "outta nowhere scenes" different ending caught me by surprise.

another few was:

-The Innkeepers (2011) - eh. decent scary movie to watch if nothing else on, wasn't great, wasn't badd.
-Intruders (2011) - turned it off halfway just because it was so slow going.
-The Devil Inside (2012) - another attempt at an exorcism, but a fail. seems like ever since I saw the original exorcist, all other exorcism movies doesn't come close, not even a little bit.
-The Rite (2011) - same as The Devil Inside.
-Underworld: Awakening (2012) - IMO they fukked this whole series up, I mean the other ones weren't great. but Awakening straight up sucked.
-Apartment 143 (2012) - meh, they tried, another demonic possesion move that had some jumpy scenes, the daughter was kinda hott. that's about it. lol
-The Woman (2011) - weird ass movie, had me watching to see what happened through the whole movie, decent movie if ur bored.
-Cassadaga (2011) - looking at the movie poster I thought this shyt was gonna redeem the Horror genre...I was wrong, decent movie to watch again if your bored, but meh. here's the movie poster:

'The Women In Black' was terrible, I thought. I hated that movie, I was sitting in the theaters just waiting for it to end, I got motivated from the previews, like an idiot, saying how scary it was. Went to the movies, 10:30 PM, alone, trying to pysch myself out, get a decent scare, and this was a total wash.
