Brehs need to get off the old school train when it comes to hair care and follow the naturalistas.

Don't shampoo your hair. If you do, use dry or sulfate free.

Use 3 Minute miracle conditioner by Aussie brands.

Keep a spray bottle with distilled water to moisturize.

Seal moisture with an olive/coconut oil/castor oil/whipped shea butter mixture.

What's your hair look like? Is it tight coils/naps, curly or wavy? Do you have thick/fine/thin hair?

Shea butter is what I'd recommend to most people.

What do you mean lotions don't work? Does it leave your skin dry or too oily?

Leaves me looking ashy/pale (I'm dark skin). My hair is thick (thinned over the years though) and very straight.

VASELINE DOES NOT WORK FOR ME. Where do I get those shea butter things from?
Target always has it. Walmart, The Vitamin Shoppe and Bed Bath & Beyond carry it and a men's line as well.

You can also check out Duane Reade, CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid.
Get Nubian Heritage if they don't have Shea Moisture, it's the same company.
