Best "evil plan" you've ever seen in comics/movies/games that if not for cliche, should've worked

I was thinking about this while watching Winter Soldier...ain't NO WAY Hydra would've failed if they had gotten that far on the plan...i mean taht thing went back like 4 decades and they had successfully infiltrated government and whatnot...they WOULD NOT have been defeated but captain america...it was a GOAT plan and they would've taken over.

The SKRULLS should've taken over earth in secret invasion; they found ways to mimic top tier heroes like blackbolt and others, and go COMPLETELY HIDDEN to magic, science, etc..they infiltrated and neutralized earth's (then) greatest defense...starktech, and whatnot...completely neutralized the avengers and infiltrated the X-men....this should've been their victory lap.

DARKSEID should've ruled earth and controlled the multiverse in Final Crisis; this fool perfected anti-life equation, enslaved 3 billion people, sent superman out on the MOST RIDICULOUS QUEST EVER and played him like a fiddle to buck with fukkin ANTI MONITORS...KILLED BATMAN...neutralized the marvel family and possessed mary marvel...everything...this should've been a LAYUP...

Blacklist had a serial killer who worked like this: He'd find people who were being denied life insurance (I think it was) because they were dying. He would offer those people huge sums of money in order to kill someone. He would then collect a huge some of money as a contract killer and offer the contract to these dying citizens. So if someone wanted a politician dead, he would find some cancer patient and offer them a chunk of the assassination money to them and then he'd give them the tools to kill the politician (gun and location or a bomb or whatever). This meant the person would die, their family would get a chunk of cash and there would be no direct connection to the original contract killer.
That ish was genius to me.

If you watch the Hannibal show, he could have won at the end of season 1 all the way up until last week's episode...but he wants to keep having fun, so dude is just getting more reckless.

Aizen in Bleach could have just played the background after faking his death and set everything up to succeed.

Came in to post this. Its the only storyline I'll give that fukkboy Bendis props on even though it was bitten from Bodysnatchers/V the tv series.
