Man MOTHAfukkA Best buy.

1. Geeksquad provides a nice service, but the rates they charge :dahell: I wanna tell folks to bring $20 and swing around my house for an hour and I can fix your shyt.

2. They mark everything up. Everything. Even the sales are typically ripoffs. This is why folks go to best buy, look at shyt, then go home and order it from Amazon or
Newegg.com.

3. A few years ago Best Buy stores started zapping appliance and computer stock to make shyt-tons of room for Mobile devices like Ipads and Iphones and shyt. I can't stand
going in to buy a gaming mouse or headphones and there is literally only 2-3 brands to choose from, most being super cheap and one being ridiculously expensive.

Best Buy is trash.

Ex best buy employee here

Anybody remember when bestbuy used to be a fun place to go to? There used to be couches to play games, tons of interactivity, tons of cd's, and the layout was just more inviting.

Then the head honchos gutted it, and it has been struggling ever since

Best Buy was my favorite store from like 95-2000.

But their shyt got too expensive, and they hired dumb asses all over that bytch.

I was going to buy a PC from their in like 05 and dude kept pushing the fukking protection plan on it, which I don't need cuz I know my way around a pic and can fix whatever, and 2, I know that those plans are normally rip offs.

Dude kept pushing it and started laughing at me cuz I didn't want it. I stopped dead in my tracks and told him never mind, I'm going somewhere that doesn't hire idiots. Never made any major purchase from their again.

Amazon shyts on it anyway.

Yup :francis: It like many other stores changed with the times, and at one point every one I went to as a kid seemed to be built to keep you inside the stores for just a bit longer.

Best Buy though can't be totally blamed, cause Brick and Mortar just hasn't been on the level of online shops since the early 2ks, and its FAR better buying online now than it was then.

Its unfortunate, cause I used to enjoy going to Best Buy, Circuit City, Comp-USA, etc. Those days are gone, and a bunch of it is the blame of smartphones.

My ass was at Microcenter last year geeking out at DSLRs, lonely in the aisles, while people are across the way buying lens kits for their cell phones :dahell: shyt is spooky.

My tastes are just too old, so the new shyt gets on my nerves.

Why do the want to sell you a Best Buy Protection Plan on every item? No thanks, I don't need a three year protection plan for this bag of candy.
They make all the employees HEAVILY push Protection Plans because:

1. They have a daily quota of Protection Plans they HAVE to get everyday as well as Best Buy Credit Card usages or the head district management will come "pay a visit :demonic:"

and

2. When they sell merchandise most of the time they break even from the cost they bought it from Samsung and other companies, Protection Plans are purely a Best Buy thing so that's 100% profit, the more plans sold the more profit goes directly to Best Buy. It's like buying soda syrup for $30 and you mix it with a ton of water to make cola and sell it for $2 a cup and you sell 300 cups that $600 minus the $30 for the cost of syrup that's $570 profit :win:

Best Buy needs to be more competitive price wise in my opinion, because Wal-Mart and Target, aside from online offer better prices. But their appliances are pretty solid.

Yes, the layout is fukking archaic. However, im a knowledgeable consumer so it doesn't bother me. It looks like most stores did back in the 90s.
Without it, I would have to buy everything online cause fukking Best Buy is hardly a computer store anymore. I need parts, not shytty overpriced premade PCs.

PLEASE be careful with this. I just fired an employee over that the other day. Don't brag about it and DO NOT tell others that your cousin is hooking you up. No harm no foul, but if he gets caught it's automatic termination
Which best buy you work at homie
