what's the best gaming purchase you've made without reading reviews?

for me it's Dragon's Dogma. I saw it for like 5 bucks in a used game store back in like 2015 and decided to pick it up. one of the best RPG's I've ever played

Horizon: Zero Dawn. Saw one trailer did the then preordered it cause I had the dough but I wasn't too hype for it at the time. Naw... All that energy went to Mass Effect: Andromeda

But Horizon turned out to be game of the gen for me.

This & FF8 by far. I bought both at Toys 'R Us simultaneously totally off of my love for RPGs back in like '00. Back when games when were like $19.99 LoD alone is one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had. Its a classic.
