You mean to tell me I'm the only person that voted for what's happening?

:beli:

Honestly, screw all of you guys :hhh:

To me it was just a knock off of Cooley High

it was based off Cooley High, even says so in the credits... SO I wouldn't fault it for that..
.
As much as love What's Happening... it just wasn't long enough to be in the GOAT... but for the short time it was ..I loved that show... I never really got into S7S like that... guess since Whats Happening was based off cooley .. and the main cast being kids.. I liked it more..

The Wrong Side of the Tracks

All in the Family huh....:mjpls:

The show revolves around the life of a working-class bigot and his family. The show broke ground in its depiction of issues previously considered unsuitable for a U.S. network television comedy, such as racism, antisemitism, infidelity, homosexuality, women's liberation, rape, religion, miscarriages, abortion, breast cancer, the Vietnam War, menopause, and impotence. Through depicting these controversial issues, the series became arguably one of television's most influential comedic programs, as it injected the sitcom format with more dramatic moments and realistic, topical conflicts.

The only other sitcom that was even close to this one was.....

Soap (TV series) - Wikipedia

Background for the above scene: The son of one of the families serialized in the show was being held by a religious cult. The butler, Robert Guillaume, and three other men from the family go into the cult's headquarters to rescue him. Fake Coli Militants will say something about them being in 'blackface' and Benson being a 'c00n' for allowing it then 'shucking and jiving', but he took care of that earlier in the same episode. Matter of fact, Benson NEVER allowed the Caucasians to step out of line without making them look stupid.

The woman who introduced me to the definition of MILF way before the term MILF was even invented. Such a fine, FINE Lady.:whew: :whoo::wow: :noah:

Well technically she wasn't a MILF until after James died and she got a rescue child who had too much iron in her diet.
