Best and worst thing about each Star Wars movie?

Been a minute since I've seen a Star Wars thread. Now that the Skywalker Saga is over, what are your favorite and least favorite things about each episode?


Ep1 - Best: Darth Maul's design and fight scenes. They didn't bother to give him a personality or motive, but he was fun to watch.

Worst: Jar-Jar Binks :scust:


Ep2 - Best: Fukk what anybody thinks, I liked seeing Yoda fight for the first time
Worst: WOAT romance


Ep3 - Best: Anakin vs. Obi Wan is one of the GOAT fight scenes
Worst: Some bad writing and dialogue, especially where Anakin's turn is concerned


Ep4 - Best: Classic film, had a lot of original concepts
Worst: Obi-Wan vs. Vader :flabbynsick:


Ep5 - Best: The twist of Vader being Luke's father. Classic at the time
Worst: Not much to dislike, but C-3PO was more annoying than usual


Ep6 - Best: The entire scene in the Emperor's throne room is classic
Worst: Ewoks


Ep7 - Best: High production values, decently written dialogue
Worst: Plot is too derivative of Episode 4, it's basically a remake. Also didn't really feel the way they killed Han.


Ep8 - Best: Fairly funny at times
Worst: Wasted a lot of characters, especially Finn, Luke, and Snoke.


Ep9: Best: Fairly fast-paced and entertaining, the plot never feels slow
Worst: They brought back Palpatine in a very awkward way. I'm fine with him coming back but it should've been foreshadowed or something. Same with him being Rey's grandfather.

Ep1 best part was we got to see the golden era of the jedi and see them cut loose with the force

Worst part was how Obi wan beat Maul even tho he had the high ground

Ep2 best part was the stadium fight scene and seeing the jedi of all different races fukk shyt up.

Worst part was Yoda telling Anakin to ignore his prophetic dreams of his mother getting raped to death by Them sand people. fukk that big eared Kermit the frog looking bytch.

Ep3 best part was Palpatine beating Yodas ass in the Senate chamber

Worst part was Anakin losing to Obi wan because he had the high ground but when Maul had the high ground in episode 1 Obi wan was allowed to win

Ep 4 best part was Han coming back to help the rebels

Worst part was Obi wan running to the Afterlife like a bytch to avoid Vaders death blow

Ep 5 best part was vader vs luke on cloud city

Worst part was 3po annoying ass

Ep6 best part was Vader saving Luke from palpatine

Worst part is the new celebration song that replaces the original ewok song.

Episode 1: Best: Darth Maul Clearly Worst: Jarjar Clearly
Episode 2: Best: I like seeing jedi fight on a large scale Worst: the 2 minutes of fighting was literally the only time during this whole saga we get to see jedi fighting on a large scale.

Episode 3: Best: Really enjoyed the opening sequence space battles, they left that out of the prior movies.
Worst: Dooku is there for like 2 seconds before he dies, felt more like he was just written out of the movie rather than the conclusion of some sort of arc.

Episode 4: Best: Space battle of Yavin, goat space battle in its day.
Worst: Yeah the obi wan duel wasn't impressive, gotta force myself to pretend they are experts.

Episode 5: Best: Vader vs Luke was actually a pretty good duel, best in the original trilogy,
Worst: the kiss :scust:

Episode 6: Best: I like the Luke Swag of finally being a confidant jedi really shows growth from the prior two movies.
Worst: Boba Fett's death:rudy:

Episode 7: Best: The overall look, they didn't od on cgi like George Lucas did in the prequels. gave this a more original trilogy look.
Worst: No explanation to the skill the saber combat, people win or lose base on plot demands it felt like. killed kylo rens intimadation for the remainder of the trilogy. also artoo and threepio weren't made important enough to the plot. an argument can made that this whole saga is being told from their perspective. Not with this trilogy though.

Episode 8: Best: Luke's finally fight against the walkers.
Worst: Turns out it was fake and he dies anyway:rudy:, plus all of finn's scenes felt like they were part of a separate movie.



Episode 9: Didn't watch, prolly was trash. The ending of 8 left no logical continuation point. :camby: plus with all the skywalkers dead, no reason to continue the skywalker saga, do a spin off series or something.:camby:

EP1: Best: Duel of the Fates music. Worst: Jar Jar.

EP2: Best: Natalie Portman's outfits. Worst: Acting/Dialog as a whole. Fighting pinball Yoda a close 2nd.

EP3: Best: The scene where Padme and Anakin are looking at each from across the city. Worst: "Nooooo!"

EP4: Best: Opening shot of the Tantive IV and star destroyer. Worst: *insert special edition change here*

EP5: Best: Luke & Yoda. Worst: Erasing the original Boba Fett voice actor.

EP6: Best: Luke, Vader, and Emperor. Worst: *insert special edition change here*

EP7: Best: Kylo Ren, a better prequel Anakin than what we got. Worst: Starkiller Base. R2 just waking up a close 2nd.

EP8: Best: Luke & Leia "reuniting." Worst: Starting the movie with "can you hear me?" and mom jokes. Canto Bight sub-plot a close 2nd.

EP9: Best: Rey hearing the ghosts of past Jedi. Worst: Emperor 2.0 and with thousands of super weapons.
