From what I've read on pharmacist/pharmacist student forums, the job market is getting saturated (increase in people going to pharmacy school, increase in pharmacy schools being built, pharmacies reducing hiring)

It's kind of sad that Anthropology is ranked amongst worse

its no mystery as to why the majority of Americans believe in the literal biblical truth of man's creation.
C/S bro,

I've never taken an Anthro class, but I heard it's one of the weaker sciences.
I did see an interesting course I wouldn't mind taking for the heck of it.
i went from #1 on the best to #7 on the worst :to:

Yeah I remember reading that a while back, it was sad to say nevertheless. Graduates were waiting tables, while wait for their next gig. The :mindblown: is that I see pharmacies on as many blocks as liquor stores now.I wouldn't be surprised if their wages start to drop within the next few years. From making like 120k average to like 75-90k

But like the GOAT Lloyd Banks said:
Times are struggling, there's nothing I can do

Find a career you're passionate about.

What would you rather have: making 35k in a field that you love or make 50k in a field you fukking hate??
50k :birdman:

What if all I enjoy doing in life is hanging out with friends, watching movies, smoking weed, getting drunk, getting laid, eating and playing video games?

I'm tryna get paid so I can be good financially, I don't wanna have to worry about that shyt when I'm :flabbynsick:

If I can pass these fukking classes hopefully that will be me someday :ahh:

do get that paper though, i spent a good chunk of my earlier years without that shyt and it was annoying making less but knowing more than some of my counterparts.

Nothing more disgusting than training your own supervisor :comeon:

That being said.

Two fields will always be in demand.
Accounting
IT.

Accounting because whether you're making money or losing it you're goign to need someone to keep track of that shyt.

IT because EVERYTHING is based on computers, even accounting software, so someone has to keep that shyt going, companies cannot really live without onsite expertise because when a server or something goes down that's mission critical.

:deadrose: either way for me: BA in journalism. And my parents don't know any head honchos in that field. I know for a fact all those interns for NBC, ABC, and CBS got the position because a family member had history (working/association/relationship) with the network. :rudy:

So true. I learned that money is definitely NOT everything. I'm over 60k now, and I would take 40k for a job that i really want in a heartbeat.

There is some truth to it. BUT, you still gotta eat and struggling, but loving what you do is not enough for some people. You can do something you might not necissarily like for a living and have hobbies (photography). Starting out "doing what you love" can suck, but if you don't mind then sure go that route i would think.

As for me I like numbers so there ya go:smile:

I've configured all of that which is why I set the bar at 40k. And I'm already doing everything that you've mentioned, but that still doesn't change the fact that I dread waking up and going to my job everyday, talking to folks that I dread talking to, conducting conferences that I dread talking about, and writing reports that I dread writing.

As for me, I'm all about simply being happy so there ya go.

sounds like you either need to change jobs or change fields.
Sometimes it's the job/company you're with and sometimes it's the job/field itself.

Any advice on careers that pay well with 2 year degrees? Preferably outside of the medical field(unless it involves minimal patient interaction)
