Best Album of 1999

[THE 101]

I know there is plenty of dope albums left off but it was a loaded year so obviously everything couldn't be included. I tried to get a nice range of releases.

For me, probably 2001. It's the predictable answer but it's a true classic.

Black on Both Sides still gets played regularly today. 2001 a close second and Things Fall Apart is my second favourite Roots album.

Black on Both Sides and Things Fall Apart are in different leagues with the rest. Vol. 3 is the worst album up there too

Black On Both Sides gets my vote. Only album on that list I can still play today and it plays great all the way through still to me.

I did a similar thread a few weeks back but ya 2001 gets the edge slighlty. Add 2000 to 1999, and a lot of people would choose Supreme Clientele. It came out only like 2 months after Dre anyway.
