it's crazy how a protagonist can take an L so large it changes the course of the entire series

i was rewatching Dexter and that L he took at the end of season 4 literally changed the show to where he took nothing but L's at the end of every season and i'd go as far as to say it was the reason for the low quality seasons

seasons 1-3 he took huge Ws but that L at the end of season 4 had his character looking funny in the light, shyt was profound to the series in retrospect
