The Sweet Science
Basically what you're saying is

Manny falls back = has no heart

Floyd falls back = "oh thats just what his style is based on" :stopitslime:

Why is it boxing with defense and sweet science when Floyd does it, but when Pacquiao does it his heart is in question..

Matter of fact, fukk you, just take this neg ho

You tripping breh Manny aint fall back because he was trying to box like Floyd he got a reality check in the form of that Mayweather ether and that shyt
was burning his soul real slow.

As someone that defended Berto numerous times during the build up of this fight with Floyd.....

I gotta be real, that nikka Berto got straight dominated. Sure he kept trying and maybe connected with 3 or 4 decent shots, he still pretty much lost every single minute of every round.

Floyd even rocked/stunned him a couple times. Floyd also talked shyt to dude and clowned him towards the end. :mjlol:

Floyd/Berto = the definition of getting sonned for 12 rounds. There's been worse, but this was bad. Berto's athleticism kept it entertaining because it made Floyd react with counters quicker during some exchanges, but that was it.

If you're not going to throw at least 650 punches against Floyd, you're prolly going to lose big on the cards.

Even though Manny didn't throw nearly as much as he was capable of he was still competitive and won 4-5 rounds to most objective viewers. Floyd boxed him with the upmost respect and even looked scary during certain moments. You can't compare that performance to what we saw against Berto. shyt's night and day and to even think Berto did better than Pac let alone actually make a thread about it, is just pure sour grapes and Manny hate. :snoop::what:

Mayweather is an atg A level fighter. Berto is a decent B- fighter. Last night the difference between them showed bright enough for Stevie Wonder to see it.

Yea because Manny hasn't been fighting extra defensively for the past 2 years.. right?? :stopitslime:

There was no ether.. Nothing special AT ALL about Floyds performance outside of the usual potshots and doing just enough to win a round which i still give him credit for

Really so he aint throw 750-800 punches against Rios?
He ain throw 650-700 punches against Aljazeera?

Yet against Floyd he threw what 450-500?
Didnt Manny land something like 70 punches while Floyd landed like twice that?

If they're wasn't anything special about Floyds win than its just because hes fighting dudes who aint on his level, so they cant push him. Not that anybodies on his level but still.

Manny got so thoroughly embarrassed he had to make up an injury excuse just to save face. That shyts weak, Manny heart pumps Kool Aid with extra sugar

Manny won 2 rounds Berto won 0 so berto certainly aint do better than Manny did.

That being said @seemorecizzy do got a point. Theyre were times in the fight were it seemed Manny was demoralized while Berto never gave up. I think Manny realized
that he wasnt on Floyds level and that disheartened him because he was drinking that Kool Aid and Floyd done altered his world view, while Berto never really thought he was gonna win,
he had no pressure on him because nobody was picking him so he could fight a bit freer.

I don't why this comparison was made, Manny did better. No question about it. That said, I agree this quoted post. Berth knew h3 wasn't on Floyd's level and was hoping for a hail Mary shot. Manny legit thought he was better till he got G-checked in the first round and he realized that bibbity bobbity dash in, dash out shyt wasn't going to fly that fight. Manny realized that the jig was up as the doppelganger and was demoralized in that regard. Berto never had a reason to feel those same emotions, never stopped trying but completely outclassed nonetheless.

Not only that, I think that the thing that gets them with Floyd is that a catches you with punches in situations that you've never been hit in before. Floyd is acutely aware of shyt and hits you when you least expect it. You get set in your ways in your fights and those become learned behaviors. Fighting Floyd reminds you that you've been doing some fukked up shyt in the ring and you've been able to get away with it with lesser opponents.

Good post
Except I don't see how anyone could possible give him 5 rounds
I gave him 3 and I was being nice (gave him a round the scorecards that the judges gave to mayweather :yeshrug:)

7-12 was pretty much a complete wash

Pacquaio was a tougher fight

Just giving Berto some props cause he never stopped coming forward and didn't get discouraged by mayweathers punching power:yeshrug:

That's why I said most objective viewers had Manny winning 4-5 rounds. :what:

With all do respect, you're a known super Floyd stan.

I wouldn't expect you to give Manny more than 2 rounds. :mjlol:

:mjlol: at you thinking I'm gon fall for the bait.

There's nothing a Floyd stan enjoys more on earth than to argue about that stale ass fight.

At the end of the day the right man won. That's all that matters.
I'm not going to revisit that dud especially with all the excitement in the boxing world that just happened this weekend.
