So, he wants us to sell weed to work for money that’s owed to us? That’s a good idea to you?

All of this talk about what Bernie would on a national level, when he did none of this to entice black folks to move into his state :comeon:

As a senator, he could’ve pushed these initiatives in Vermont and gave black folks jobs and other incentives to move there. He didn’t. Didn’t even try. So how the hell am I supposed to believe he’s going to do it in a split congress?
yes he has good ideas. I'm not doing the emotional back n forth :yeshrug:

He already said he does think reparations is divisive not because HE thinks so but to the masses. Opinion Votes have shown that. This isn't about someone telling you you aren't owed. He's trying to find another avenue to deliver some restitution with less opposition..

That isn't pandering. If you don't like his views you have other people to look into.

Don't ask me the bolded again.. I think it's ok for a politician to be as grounding as he can. He won't say anything to get elected if that's what you want then that is pandering. You are mad that he is being honest about the difficulty of said task...

Again, he thinks it's divisive -- and my point is if he can't stand up for my people and my ancestors for what's due. For what EVERYONE in this country knows has happened, is happening to my people -- then fukk him.

And that goes for everyone else as well.

I can and will ask you as many times as needed -- cause for you to make that statement shows you have no clue about what's owed and for you to think we should negotiate or take selling weed as a constellation prize - tells me you don't know enough -- or this ain't got shyt to do with you. Therefore, you don't care enough -- and don't get it.

I'm not mad -- i'm disgusted and frustrated - that other Black people keep coming out their mouth telling Black Americans to take scraps and take being added to the bottom of the list -- as enough. I"m good on that. I pray more of us get this spirit and stop letting people talk to us and try to gaslight us into some BS for their needs and wants.

Again, we over being the mule.

I would give Bernie a chance if he and his people were honest-- but this lift all boats shyt and classism over race ish is bullshyt. This is AMERICA.

These people aren't going to vote because the candidate they want will never exist.

These people...me - has always voted. I have always encouraged others to vote - as that is what our people fought and died for -- what I look like telling them not too.

I know no perfect candidate exist -- but I'm not invisible -- neither are my people. Some acknowledgment, an agenda and reparations aint too much to ask for IMO.

For anyone to tell me different -- or try to steer any other Black American in a different direction based off of history of our people and families here -- tells me they have the issue with self-respect/love.

shyt, you don't. What's annoying is jumping in conversations about and speaking for them -- and not knowing enough about them to do so.

But, please do that.

These days... it's rare to meet a proud Black American that won't waiver and stands strong on what's due to her ancestors -- it shocking to some. I get it.

And...thanks - very kind of you.

Take care!

The power structure of the US prioritizes the wealthy. Classism IS the issue and its lockstep with racism.

Based off the history of the U.S. -- where black bodies (living and dead) were used for mortgage, credit and building of this country, corporations, institutions, intellectual properties, medical procedures, etc. RACE is the ISSUE -- and then comes classism.

Meaning everything begins with RACE. Therefore, in order to deal with inequalities and make changes to that "power structure" -- race (specifically - Black Americans/ADOS) need to be addressed and repaired.

But, it's divisive.

Black people talking about classism is hilarious -- even though raced-based legislation and judicial aspects of race are still extremely rampant.

I guess if that Black man or woman lived in a better neighborhood or parents had great jobs - he would be cool -- NOT.

exactly poverty in America is directly race based, anyone talking class is simply trying not to step on toes.
