Dude acts like he has undeniable proof that cassidy wrote this. Here's why his proof is lacking. He has clips of cassidy rapping and cassidy talking.

1. All the videos of cassidy rapping are over 10yrs old the most recent one is from 13yrs ago. Cassidy style has changed since he first started he actually cites the Freeway battle as evidence when cassidy hasn't rapped that that in 20yrs. Cassidy likes to think his style evolved but I personally prefer the old punchline flow cass.

2."you little mangy minute maid man" the dude said this doesn't make sense because benzino is 5'3 and em is 5'8, well Cassidy is 5'9 so it still wouldn't make sense. And the fact that he is talking the word little so literally shows that he's reaching. It's being used a form of disrespect.

3. In the video this dude quotes the Benzino dog bar and says Benzino forgot to change the name because he was rapping someone else's lyrics. He says "but aren't you benzino...dog?" Dude just pulling shyt out his ass without knowing what he's talking about. How about doing some research.. even if you don't know about Benzino Dog you can tell by the vocal inflection and tone of the bar that "Benzino Dog" is a completely different entity

4.he has a clip of a video with cassidy explaining the science which is the smoking gun. cassidy talks about multisylable piece ups and how this is something you have to do according to "the science" cassidy is too arrogant to change "the science" even while ghostwriting. Cass lives and dies by multisylable rhyme patterns and in this song Benzino strays away from using them a few times. Here are the examples...

(know me, ogs, close to me) Cassidy would never do this.

If you support 50, then why ain't you go to Smoke funeral?

While Having funeral as an end rhyme twice is something cassidy would do, he wouldn't pen these rhymes unless the internals actually rhymed, nipsey and smoke don't rhyme.

C)You dissed Lana Del Ray fam, Moby, Iggy
Not Iguodala, the white broad, is you shyttin' me?

this goes against "the science" cassidy has never in 24 plus years made this "mistake" while rhyming.


Now let's say someone else wrote it. Cool it just wasn't Cassidy. To me some of this shyt sounds like Game. He has been known to abandon the multi at the end of bars at times and also attempting to squeeze too many syllables into a bar to where it seems like he's fighting to stay on beat. Also Game is a mimmick rapper. He probably channeled cassidy to write this diss and still used showed some of hisown tendencies.

Didn't really think about it but looked at some of the video. My thoughts:

  • I 100% believe Cassidy wrote the Cassidy sounding parts. I don't believe Game, copycat he is, is clever or smart enough to ghostwrite in another ghostwriter's style to throw people off. His delusion and ego is too great.
  • I do believe Benzino wrote, or at least came up with some of it like the YBI stuff because who else would know that. This is also where he raps super simple like he normally would.
  • I believe Game and others may have been involved, making this a collaborative effort. In the days of group chats, and infinite messaging apps, it's completely in the realm of possibility that Ben went to Eminem's enemies and asked for help getting at him. Cassidy gets to go at Em by proxy, Game is just a mad weirdo, and whoever else that may want to curry favor or get some bread from Benzino. Coulda been a bum ass version of a Drake writing camp. I think this is the likely scenario. There is NO WAY IN HELL Benzino came up with all that and was intentionally weaving in and out of flows like that, something he's never done in hs 30ish years of rapping.

I think the issue is that he can't really say anything new against Benzino cause he ain't really been in the light at all. There's a lot of ammo to go at Em post 2005. What's Em gonna say that he hasn't said already?

It's music you shouldn't need to feel so insecure over liking one song over another. It's not like Em's fans transfer to Benzino, everyone will be ok.
