Unfortunately this video popped up in my algorithm after listen to this song. I thought I was done with this topic but unfortunately I had to double back on this bullshyt. This is why I don't think its Cass. I could be wrong but im just going with the 24years of cassidy that I know and have been listening to.
Dude acts like he has undeniable proof that cassidy wrote this. Here's why his proof is lacking. He has clips of cassidy rapping and cassidy talking.
1. All the videos of cassidy rapping are over 10yrs old the most recent one is from 13yrs ago. Cassidy style has changed since he first started he actually cites the Freeway battle as evidence when cassidy hasn't rapped that that in 20yrs. Cassidy likes to think his style evolved but I personally prefer the old punchline flow cass.
2."you little mangy minute maid man" the dude said this doesn't make sense because benzino is 5'3 and em is 5'8, well Cassidy is 5'9 so it still wouldn't make sense. And the fact that he is talking the word little so literally shows that he's reaching. It's being used a form of disrespect.
3. In the video this dude quotes the Benzino dog bar and says Benzino forgot to change the name because he was rapping someone else's lyrics. He says "but aren't you benzino...dog?" Dude just pulling shyt out his ass without knowing what he's talking about. How about doing some research.. even if you don't know about Benzino Dog you can tell by the vocal inflection and tone of the bar that "Benzino Dog" is a completely different entity
4.he has a clip of a video with cassidy explaining the science which is the smoking gun. cassidy talks about multisylable piece ups and how this is something you have to do according to "the science" cassidy is too arrogant to change "the science" even while ghostwriting. Cass lives and dies by multisylable rhyme patterns and in this song Benzino strays away from using them a few times. Here are the examples...

While Having funeral as an end rhyme twice is something cassidy would do, he wouldn't pen these rhymes unless the internals actually rhymed, nipsey and smoke don't rhyme.

this goes against "the science" cassidy has never in 24 plus years made this "mistake" while rhyming.
Now let's say someone else wrote it. Cool it just wasn't Cassidy. To me some of this shyt sounds like Game. He has been known to abandon the multi at the end of bars at times and also attempting to squeeze too many syllables into a bar to where it seems like he's fighting to stay on beat. Also Game is a mimmick rapper. He probably channeled cassidy to write this diss and still used showed some of hisown tendencies.
