For a EP this is high quality, that Alchemist is crazy. Same with the Black Thought feature.

Yes. All this. I think I remember him saying most of TT3 was recorded in 2017 but had to sit on it. It’s clear based on this that his skill has leveled up since then.

I’ve slept on Spesh too. I have to hold an L for that. I think I need to listen to Stabbed & Shot ASAP.

Yep. Bro we are gonna need a Benny and Alc album. Plug House and 5 to 50 on a few listens are just as good as Rubber Bands, Broken Bottles, etc. At this point if I can have an album from those 2 you can keep Hall & Nash 2.

Benny’s ear is great. Can’t really think of a single weak beat he’s picked in the past year.

I’m not trying to be a hype beast but I really believe with this project here that Benny will rise above just having the Griselda label. So far no one has had a bigger name than the crew itself, but that’s about to change. He’s about to be spoken of as a peer among vets as opposed to being compared to his label mates and other east coast goon rappers.

Heads and especially fellow emcees take note when a guy stands toe to toe with Thought.

The sample even reminded me of the Al Green joint RZA looped on 260...hell it might be even be that same sample.

Also is it me or is Thought actually rapping a lot more in the past few years? Seemed like he never did much outside of Roots projects but it seems like I've been seeing him featured somewhere every few months. I'm digging getting to hear him rap on joints outside of his group.
