I don’t got no new friends, that’s how you get loose ends
I need that Benz truck, yeah, that great white with two fins
Major deal for what? Uh, that’s gon’ cost him two Ms
Truth is, I’ma clear a half a million before New Years
These lil nikkas satisfied with BAPE outfits
I need a Wraith out it, big shyt, lake houses
I’m talking condos just for safe houses, Space Mountain
I’m tryna see so much bread, I gotta take counselling

Benny talking that talk throughout but got damn this shyt right here :picard:

Whole tape dope as fukk...too early to tell if it’s top 5 this year but fo sure it’s rounded off one of the dopest years that hip hop has had in a long time imo :wow:
That Cloth talk :ohlawd:
And the flow dirty like Flint Water to top it off :wow:

Man, it's early, but this might be my favorite Griselda release period. I guess it'll depend on the mood but IMO Reject 2, this, and Flygod are the top 3. I'd probably put Flygod at #3 since he's my least favorite rapper of the 3, but when you're in the right mood Flygod is incredible. It's really between Tana Talk 3 and Reject 2 for the top spot for me.

BTW I think Benny arguably did himself a disservice by calling this one Tana Talk 3. This is an album and people (understandably so) are talking about it like it's a mixtape because Tana Talk 1 and 2 really are mixtapes. This is good enough to not be a part 3 of anything. A better title could make it get a little more respect as an album, which is what it is.

Not a big deal, but the title and the covert art I don't love. But track for track this is an amazing project.

Post the Mach Hommy album better than this shyt. So I can give it that Goon FM test.

I don't really get why ppl compare Mach and Benny. It makes sense I guess, since Benny sort of stepped in when Mach left, but to me their styles are totally different. Benny reminds me of a modern day LOX member. He reminds me a lot of Styles P but with a few more traditional Jadakiss-esque punchlines thrown in the mix. Mach almost reminds me of a Roc Marci/DOOM/Earl hybrid, with a lot of free association/stream of consciousness bars that may have a loose theme but are sort of all over the place.

They're both dope as hell but honestly to me they sound super different in both style and delivery.

:yeshrug:

I do love this joint they were on together. On this joint Mach Hommy was less "out there" than a lot of material I've heard from him. I could be wrong but IMO Mach's style has evolved a little but since this time. Maybe a bigger Mach fan could correct me if I'm wrong?

Album cover is a picture (Real baby picture that someone drew years ago) of his brother that died.

idk, while im glad this was released. but While A Friend of Ours was good and Stabbed and Shot was good.

i think TT3 is the perfect crowning moment of the run Benny has had. even if it was sat on for over 1 year
countless features killed, showing off with the mixtapes, and now a album thats everyone praising...breh has had 1 hell of a run that not many rappers put together
