Now we have evidence of Benny’s dad being a cop too, and nikkas is moving goalposts and making excuses.

If anything its an issue of credibility. If you were raised by a police officer it makes your street tales a little less believable. Benny's pops became a cop well after Benny left the street as a grown man so being fair, it doesn't take away from his "image" the same way it does Freddy. Plus Benny really went to the FEDS so his history is documented.
