Well, a lot of Upstate New York artists have been putting in work since the late 2010s.
The 90s-era NYC artists will always hold the crown
in regards to NY (East Coast in general) Hip-Hop.
There are a few current NYC artists I fuk with, like Roc Marci, Rome Streetz, Joey, and a few others, but Upstate rappers have been more prolific within the last 8 years or so if we're not counting the OGs, such as Nas, for example, who has been on a hot streak for the past 6 years just about or some of the other OGs like LL, Rakim, etc releasing records.
