breh has avoided all of the things that cause him anxiety for too long instead of facing it. now small things like this are just going to cause more anxiety and its getting blown up a billion times more than it would for any other player missing a layup because he has allowed his anxieties to play out and become obvious to the general public.

a more mentally tough player/person like giannis would face the shyt head on like his free throws, i think it will take years of therapy for ben at this point. and he ain't got time for that lol.

Even if we push back to him being on the Wizards, that's still a drop in the bucket compared to his years of greatness.

:skip:

His years of greatness aren’t that impressive. OKC let him do whatever the fukk he wanted to chase triple doubles. He’d be the only one who boxed out. Motherfukkers literally did a volleyball pass to him if they touched the rebound first.

Above the fray.
Haven't regularly watched basketball in years. In past eras, when scorers went on cold streaks or lost their confidence,,the point guard would deliberately set him up for backdoor cut layups.
Seen Magic do it, seen the late Dennis Johnson do it in high stakes playoff games.

Get them dunks, and easy layups so they can see their shots going through the rim.

In modern era where so many 3s are shot, backdoor cuts for layups are always there for the taking. ESPECIALLY, with KD on the court.

Do the Nets try to get Simmons going early this way?

Lol dude has to legitimately be injured cause this doesn’t make any sense.:ohhh:
He’s afraid of getting fouled and sent to the line. Has to be a mental thing. If it was a physical thing like an injury, he wouldn’t be on the court at all this early in the season.

I think dude might have racing thoughts like “Don’t mess up!” on repeat in his head. Gotta seek professional help for something like that

:what:

Y'all say the most ridiculous of things on here. Ben and Westbrook didn't just get their contracts the year they aren't performing at level, they got them while winning awards or getting high seeds for their team.

Everyone has a down year, let them get adjusted before the small sample size in comparison to their great years overshadows their work.Yourpostcan be added to what is underlined.

He's been horrible for 3 years.

You can't set a guy up for easy point that refuses to look at the basket. He catches the ball in the paint and 99% of the time he doesn't acknowledge the fact that theres a rim three feet away.
