The NBA is the one employer where you can make too much money to "fire". Ben Simmons and Russell Westbrook shouldnt be on rosters, yet because they get paid a lot teams feel like they need to keep them around.
Y'all say the most ridiculous of things on here. Ben and Westbrook didn't just get their contracts the year they aren't performing at level, they got them while winning awards or getting high seeds for their team.
Everyone has a down year, let them get adjusted before the small sample size in comparison to their great years overshadows their work.

This isn’t a down year for Westbrook. He been garbage for a while now. If he wasn’t on the hook for a monster number his ass woulda been at home.
