Story still makes no sense. Elton's a very smart dude, no chance he's giving up on a 21 year old who's already won ROTY and made an All-Star game WITHOUT a jumper. He'd be begging to lose his job to want to trade Ben now.
nah, it makes perfect sense. Ben is already a diva and has had more than ample time to work on his J. Brook Lopez came outta nowhere from being more of a traditional 5 to all of the being a sniper from beyond the arc. the fact this dude has not worked on that part of his game is inexcusable. the fact that he literally refuses to shoot when teams are daring him to is inexcusable. Brand had a long career and he's been in the league long enough to know something ain't right in the milk.
the bugged thing to me is that that glaring weakness that we're talking about is prolly a reason why he wouldn't fetch much on the trade market. what exactly is his value in a league that is putting a premium on being able to shoot at least adequately from outside 5 ft. he's not Giannis.
also, you can tell he's out there hunting for his numbers, just like Westbrick. he thinks he's better than he really is and he's basically useless without the ball in his hands
