When did blm get taken over by feminists? The problem with blm is that it could be used more effectively. That's it. But beyond that, anyone who has a problem with the movement is sus

You do realize the movement was started by 3 women but this quote from Wikipedia does sum up the issue within the movement

The movement was co-founded by three black activists: Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi.[4][5] Although the three run a stable website and organization, the overall Black Lives Matter movement is a decentralized network, and has no formal hierarchy or structure.[6] The movement reached national awareness with the protests and unrest in Ferguson in August 2014, although Garza, Cullors and Tometi were not initially involved in those events.[7][8]

What I find strange is that most people don't know this and these women are rarely if ever seen publically speaking about the movement. They literally created this platform that had/has the power to make some change or at least just draw massive attention to the problems facing black people but we never see them. This is what is troubling to me. :jbhmm:

Bruh let's keep it 100. I'm a huge NWA fan like most people on this board but l wish people would stop acting like this group was Public Enemy or NOI. NWA were Pioneers of Gangsta rap, they made lots of money and gave a few people in their community jobs but lets stop acting like they weren't writing degrading lyrics on violence, women. Beating up woman, packing guns, promoting drugs and gang violence and a negative image overall.

Again I personally don't have a problem with it and love their music but call a spade a spade. Don't sit here and tell me other people are wrong for criticizing a group that promoted negativity and profited off of it.

Preach....

politically convenient targets

How ironic.

Nonsense piece, meant exclusively to garner white support, not teach or discuss anything amongst blacks.

Y'all don't find it a lot to suspect that outsiders are funding the movement? Particularly someone who is as shady as George Soros?

He doesn't need to offer shyt to be right about a sham of an organized movement.

Do you not know who funds them? :what:

Go google George Soros, take a look at some of the articles, and give an honest thought on it.
Y'all don't find it a lot to suspect that outsiders are funding the movement? Particularly someone who is as shady as George Soros?
George Soros has a foundation that annually gives millions to various left-wing social justice groups; he hasn't given large quantities of money to BLM or any other similar organization specifically and he doesn't control the actions of those groups either.
Soros gave Barack Obama around $6 million for his two presidential campaigns does that mean that Obama's presidency was a sham too?
It really bothers me when I see people on The Coli so eagerly embracing Right-Wing attack angles. If you are a Republican then keep on embracing bullshyt but if you aren't a Republican then you really need to ask yourself why you are so willing to be lied to and then regurgitate that shyt like its the gospel.
