he isnt afraid of taking on "malcontents" and "bad character" guys.
Aside from DIllon though none of them were a huge reason for sucess,Rex Ryan does that and it blew up in his face

He was the Def Coordinator of the Giants when they won 2 SBs.

Randy MAUCE wasnt a huge success?

I don't know what makes one DC better than the other. The common denominator is players
I just don't think there is that much variance between the best and worst coaches in the NFL
He took Brady in the 6th round. He doesn't get any credit for that
lol, so the Pats get no credit for drafting him, even tho they, well drafted him. At least you can give Beli credit for carrying 4 QB's that year right?
Obviously players and the organization in general have alot to do with it as well. But the man has had success damn near every where he's coached except for Cleveland.
He was the Def Coordinator of the Giants when they won 2 SBs. Shut down one of the great offenses in the history of the game to get the first one.
See the post below. PLUS, I'm not saying that Brady has nothing to do with it, I'm saying that the man has had success WHEREVER he's gone.He was 41-57 before tom brady became his starting quarterback.(5-11 first season in NE, 0-2 in the first 2 starts of 01')
He actually started to have some success in Cleveland. Mondell announcing that the Browns where moving mid way threw the 96 season killled everything they where building in Cleveland.

no, we do know >>>>>>>>>>>>Rex RyanWe don't know that.
What we do know is that he has a better QB than Ryan.
