Sonnen borderline racebaited when he was challenging Silva and I'll never forget that, but he's legitimately good friends with Rashad, Cormier and King Mo (privately offered to pay his medical bills when he was dying of staph). If you've ever listened to his podcast, he surprisingly puts over black talent pretty often and more or less admitted his persona in the UFC was just an exaggerated heel character concocted to get attention (it worked). Not saying he's not a punk ass cac (he is), but he's not truly anti-black like Ortiz.
