The entire fight
Not a lot to be honest, they both looked overly cautious (bendo more so) patricio was tagging him quite easily but with nothing with any mustard. They got close clinched up momentarily then as soon as they were apart pit bull indicates he's injured. Boring fight with an anticlimactic ending. Bendo's stock really plummets here, to think just a short while ago he had that triumphant victory at ww that was so inspirational :mjcry:

He was losing that fight, he got incredibly lucky. He's spending more time training Mackenzie Dern than on his own fight

I honestly think this Bellator move was just for him to cash out.

He doesn't look even remotely close to the Ben that fought Masvidal or Thatch a year ago.

I think so, he did say he was going to the army right after his contract was up with Bellator on the MMA Hour. Can't blame him for just wanting to get paid and wanting to get out of the game relatively unscathed.

He also said he wanted to retire with the UFC and possibly do another card in Korea :lupe:

Benson only has two fights left on his deal now too. Maybe they can do his last fight in South Korea. Coker has said their broadcast partner in South Korea (KBS Sports) had some interest in holding a card there. They're doing a card in Israel and Argentina this year too.

Just finished watching the show, and up until the main event the card was moving along at a good pace with some nice knock outs :ehh:

Then Bendo's fight strategy in the 1st rd had me :dwillhuh: and the injury happened to Pitbull :martin:. He was actually doing well until he got hurt. I'm interested in seeing how Chandler/Bendo plays out, even with the somewhat lackluster performance from Bendo tonight.

A.J. McKee is a solid prospect at FW for them :ehh:

LMAO, that injury didn't just happen, he planned that, and that's how you correctly check a leg kick, you are suppose to destroy the limb with the knee

Weidman did the same thing to Anderson Silva, it happens in kick boxing

it happen to Mcgregor when Diaz start checking his kick, but he didn't get clean with the knee

it's the tactic, which is why leg kicks have always been dumb to me, all you have to do is train to check the kick, and you can do this to anybody in MMA.

you're suppose to slip in a kick after some punches to them out of position so they can't check it, otherwise you keep spamming leg kicks, anybody who has a brain can check the kick and the end the fight. Most MMA fighters do not know how to check kicks properly

Really good card up until the main event...

AJ McKee looks legit....tall, strong, athletic...jiujitsu is his strong point but his striking is good...hopefully he makes noise @ fw...

Bendo actually looked good, all things considered, against Koreshkov. showed that he still has a good chin, was still showing great elusiveness...was landing SOME offense against a much larger man...and was just being awkward enough in his approach to not let koreshkov look totally comfortable...

Ben looked TERRIBLE on Friday night...getting outjabbed by the guy with less range...couldn't get a TD...couldn't even control Pitbull in the clinch...the only thing he did well was this alleged kick check that I never even saw happen live(GIF please???)...and yall know i'm ehhhh when it comes to kick check stoppages anyway. I still think Ben has all his physical attributes.....but it is what it is. This was THE WORST performance I've ever seen from Ben last Friday. And Chandler is walking around @ 192 lbs.......and he looks in shape...

And we know he's legit b/c a green Chandler stopped Eddie and slightly more seasoned Chandler arguably should've gotten the nod in the rematch...I honestly think Ben will be ready and perform well regardless...but I'm leaning 55%/45% Chandler, atm.

The man was losing to 5'5 Pitbull who could drop to 135 one day :mindblown:

I'm a huge fan of Benson, but man he's looked horrible since joining Bellator
