Miz has a track record of making his lackeys more over than they would be on their own.

I used to think Bray and Bo should be together since they are brothers but lets face it, Bray had numerous times to get Luke Harper & Erick Rowan and their not over at all

It would be perfect to have them on separate brands, and then build up to a battle of the couples at a major PPV. Why not just...add Bo and Axel to Miz and Maryse?

It seems to me that Maryse may have been too successful for her own good. They've seen how good her come-back has been so they're trying to re-create it with someone else. She's been about as good and consistent in her role as anyone else on the show since she got there. Note the emphasis on "in her role". This might not be "fair" to all of the roster, but looking at just who is actually on WWE TV, regardless of the part they play, she's up there in that Renee Young tier of people who are just mostly always good and doesn't drop the ball even if they aren't actually wrestlers. Great look and ATTITUDE, talks well when she has too, take a bump here and there, and most importantly she ADDED to her husbands appeal.

I think that Kelly Kelly and Mickie James also ate off her come back.

Shame she has to take a backseat for Maria to come in but I do understand the logic by the WWE (Even if is misaligned). It's their typical "it worked once, it'll work again" thing, which is fine on a macro level, but on a micro level, they consistently try to put shyt on people who may be surface-level appropriate for the gimmick, but that don't really have the foundation to carry it through successfully.

Of course, not having to actually wrestle or be in her own feuds protects her tremendously. We know that the WWE would eventually ruin her if she was an active roster member (Which is why I'm weary of this Miz break-up).
