Belgium has been involved in the wars in Lybia and Syria, and if you haven't heard the European institutions are in Brussels. This is attack against Belgium as much as it is against the European Union (Maelbeek metro station is like 500 meters from the European Commission) Plus we just arrested Abdelslam.

Probably from that arrest in Brussels last week. Belgium has had a policy where they allow known terrorist groups to live there as long as they don't do any terrorism in their country...Arresting that dude probably pissed off a lot of groups in the country.

Sooo let me get this straight...Belgium allows Isis or whoever to live their peacefully as long as they practice there violence outside of their borders...I find this hard to believe...Paris the US and others would object to this seriously. And if this is some unwritten policy that Belgium installed...then they themselves are stupid.

The root of the problem is Wahhabism which is radical Islam that's basically been a thing since the existence of Saudi Arabia (You Can't Understand ISIS If You Don't Know the History of Wahhabism in Saudi Arabia) who helps teach & funnels billions of dollars spreading it to the Middle East etc etc it is a religious thing but also has huge cultural influence to spread it further but it's radical Islam. That doesn't mean that all Muslims are like bad, though. Wahhabism kills more Muslims than anything.

Of course it's not an official policy Plus there has also been a recent terror attack a couple years back at the Jewish Museum, so it's not like we're immune to this shyt. And arrests have been happening for the longest in Belgium, before the Paris attacks too, groups like Sharia4Belgium have been dismantled etc...so it's like not Belgian services are just leaving these people alone. Obviously, not enough has been done, but saying that NOTHING has been done would be incorrect.

Belgian officials have been lax at various levels, which has "allowed" all kinds of bs to go on and develop. This we can all agree on, and we had this coming.
