Europe is having a culmiantion of storms that in the worst case scenario can lead to bloody civil conflicts. You have the EU debt crisis which is still not resovled and could potentially lead to a split within the EU between North and southern Europe since countries like France,Uk and germany see countries like Greece,Portugal and Spain as a liability. There is a possiblity that the EU debt crisis could plunge Europe into a depression. Then you have the refugee crisis which is making tensions between migrants and europeans very high. There is already clahses between migrants and french police. You have the instability in Turkey. Turkey is seen as the shield that prevents the instablity in the mideast spread to the Balkans and eastern Europe. With the Kurdish PKK/YPG holding massive amounts of territory in northern Syria this creates a safe haven for the PKK. In Iraq Kurdish nationalism is at all time high and the PUK which supports the PKK migh come to power in Iraqi Kurdistan if Barzani steps down. You could have two of them working together to help Kurdish seperatist to spread chaos in Turkey. Then you have a bunch of ISIS cells in Turkey. If Turkey descends into a full scale civil war then it will be a wrap as a weak Turkey can open more arms and extreamist into Europe. The EU is in the midst of the greatest crisis since its inception what they do will determine the end of the EU or not. With the Brexit referendum, the far right govt in Poland and other eastern Europe countries and the Ukraine conflict shyt could go south in a couple of years.

Good points. EU is in a realy difficult spot right now and I'm not sure our leaders have what it takes to pull us through. We don't have any political will/direction anymore : it's all about managing numbers and "security". That's no way to build a future.

French-Italian-Spanish-Portuguese have the same roots, have some similar words (mostly between Italian and Spanish, or Spanish and Portuguese), but they are different languages. For example I'm Italian and I don't speak French nor Spanish nor Portuguese, I just know some random words.

There's a reason why people here spends years studying those other languages.

I mean "Thank you" is grazie in Italian, merci in French and obrigado in Portuguese..You want to tell me that's like UK English vs US English vs Aussie English?

But on the slim chance it's not Europe has had this coming for a long time, the exception being Scandinavian countries. So I can't bring myself to feel sympathy for countries like Belgium and France who have a long history of interfering and fukking with my people.
