The issue is that people are acting like Belgium is some small peaceful country when it's not. Shouts out to the people that lost their lives but it's a cold fukking world we're living in.

It happened 50 years ago. I'm not saying "forgive and forget" but the global economic, political and social landscape has changed so radically in the last 50 years that's it's just not right to bring this up as a way of quasi-justifying what happened today. I mean if this was done by some Congolese guys a few years after the Belgians killed their people, I would still not condone it but I would understand.
