I am not claiming I am immersed in the Hollywood scene, but a close friend of mine has been up there since 2005 or so, trying to get on. He has his circle of fairly famous friends and their friends, and has done a few movies, nothing anyone would know. He started as an actor, and went to directing. So, I've seen a little of that world, being on set with him, and I was proud of my friend, but also realized I hated that enviornment, and only liked it as a guest of sorts. I would never want that to become my life, one of the most superficial, shallow, hierarchy based, smothering places I could think if. Most of those people are just consumed with that life, and yes, I thought about and watched all the endless extras, the makeup girls, the security, the C list actors, and this was a very small little vanity movie. How could you ponder your existence and want to live another day? The answer is there isn't much pondering, or they are just possessed by the little pleasures their little world affords them.
at Paul Walker dying...cause that pretty much guaranteed her being written out of the fast and furious movies...which might be millions of dollars out of her pocket now...
