Also, to prioritize doesn’t mean that every moment of your life revolves around that one thing. I can prioritize my wife and still communicate that specific times are for something other than my wife. At times I prioritize work, or myself, or my kids. I have various priorities that I have to balance… But if it’s golf/homeboys/watching sports/etc. or my wife… 9 times out of 10, I’m choosing my wife. Not because I feel like it in the moment, but because I love my wife and it’s more important.

If you don't prioritize yourself you probably won't be consider desirable enough to marry in the first place. In this life always always prioritize yourself first, you start from there and work down if you don't you wont be able to impact anyone elses life positively.

And if me watching sports is going to help my mental health more than being around my wife at that moment then thats what i'll do sometimes.

I’m not sure if you quoted me to agree with me but I covered everything you said. I specifically said I prioritize myself, my kids and work at different times. There’s not just one priority, it’s a balance.

And the reason I said 9 times out of 10 is because while that’s what will usually happen, there will be times where it doesn’t matter what your wife needs because you gotta make sure you take care of yourself.
