It was neccesary to keep thecharactor alive because of how ridiculous he had gotten during the ministry era...but it made him no longer an 'attraction'. His fued with flair leading to xviii was lame as fukk. The only thing memorable was him beating the shyt out of david flair, and arn anderson cheating for flair during the match.

I liked the American Bad Ass as a face, when he was heel for the small period I couldn't stand him. Until he beat the crap out of Hogan and had the great ladder match with Jeff Hardy.

The ministry taker was ruined when they created the corporate ministry and brought in the higher power storyline, which i dont know if it was someone else other than vince like jake the snake it may have turned out for the best

I too think his best gimmick was the ministry Taker. With that beard and that evil demeanor Taker even gave me the chills back in them days. But i also liked "the impervious to pain that always sat up no matter what" Taker too. He has had pretty much one gimmick that would have flopped by most people and he has flipped it so many times.
