As a kid, it was a time when Grand Puba was my favorite rapper (along with Redman and Treach) The thing I liked about Puba back then was how he use to style on tracks and just kill it. I hate to use the word swag but in 92, Puba was the true definition of it. He was also 1 of the first rappers I remember rocking and shouting out Polo and Hilfiger heavy. As most of ya'll may know, I'm a Lo head. I've been doing the Polo thing heavy since about 13, when I basically started making my own money. And Puba's music exemplified that fly nikka getting paper. He had potential to really be a force in the game, but for whatever reason didn't capitalize off that. But even that, dude still left a mark in this Hip Hop thing.

Grand Puba is under rated. Was just listening to that "All For One" album from Brand Nubian and he killed it.

Yea, even during the Brand Nubian days I was a huge fan. That All For One cassette was getting heavy burned in the hood. I even remember when Puba was in the group Masters Of Ceremony (Before Brand Nubian)

I wish i could remember that site that had tons of exclusive old school live performances. I can't recall it now. it's driving me crazy. They had a few real nice Puba live videos from the early 90's.

Zhigge is another honorable mention when it comes to rappers and Lo wear. Some of the pieces in this vid I was rocking freshman year in high school.

I mention 2chainz and Young Dro because those are the dudes that's popular RIGHT NOW for name dropping RL. I was trying to prove a point. And even with Trick, whom I'm a fan of, he wasn't doing it like Puba with the pieces.
