Been working out for 3 months.

In the first 2 months on dumbbell press I went from 25 to 50 but for the last month I been stuck on 50. I mean I was gradually moving up with ease but I've been stuck on this weight

My goal is mass and I usually do 3 sets of 8 reps. I tried 52.5 today and it went 5, 3, 1 :sadcam:

Anybody got tips?

the internet
eat more...maybe even do more reps.

I know at first sight the guy seems weird...and he's on steroids...
...but Rich Pianas "Bigger by the Day" series really shows you how you have to switch shyt up if you want to grow.

Ive always stuck to a 5x5 type of regimine...
...but ever since ive been watching what he does, and how he thinks about things....I started changing up my rep ranges, doing exercises in different orders, etc....

I can really see a difference.

I like what @Originalgangsta317 does so ill suggest it to you. Instead of 3x8 at the same weight do a work up in weight at the same reps.So something like this
45lbs 5reps
50lbs 5 reps
55 lbs 5 reps
60lbs 5reps

Then do that until your around 8 reps for each then try your 50 3x8 again. You will be able to hit it

Yea I've never plateaud by doing this

So 4 sets of 5? The same way you wrote it?

Estimate on how long I will see an improvement?

nah after those 4 sets take 2-4min break then work back down like this
60lbs 5reps
55lbs 5reps
50lbs 5reps
45lbs 5reps
so that's 8 sets total of 5reps. Once you can hit this for 8 reps each youll be able to do 50 3x8. so I would say about 1mos-2mos. Depends on your form and how well you take care of your body

Change to BB for a bit
Do reverse pyramid - your first working set is your heaviest and then work down
Progressive overload - be it more reps or slight increases in weight - this works well with 5x5
