Never forgiven my parents for putting my dog down when I was a kid, as it chased some kids bullying me down the road and bit me on the leg. That dog several years before has got in between me and a doberman pinscher who had escaped from a neighbours house and was running towards me growling and my dog ripped it's throat out,killing it then attacked the dogs owner when he tried to stop him . As they say it's not the size but the fight in a dog. My parents refused to get him put down then, despite the police coming to the house, but when he attacked a kid whatever the circumstances....

That dog was like my shadow ,he would even try to follow me to school,hide my socks so I think it's kind of a bad way to repay what are a dogs natural instincts to protect it's owner. I have had dogs since but nothing comes close to that mongrel we got from the rescue kennels.

After him, we got a standard poodle again from the rescue centre, people were amazed we got essentially a dog show quality dog from there, there were worries he might be stolen actually as he was perfect physically , and despite the media, image, they are big powerful dogs, and we didn't get him cut in a gay way he kind of had dreadlocks , he was highly intelligent ,which meant he was actually impossible to train because he saw through it all , he actually deliberately turned his back at the dog trainer refusing to take part like he was above it all.So that was why he was never in the dog shows ,not that I wanted anything to do with that. He actually had a french stubborness. He was more my dads dog, but he was great as well.

Yeah that's how I feel. My dog is sick right now, started losing his hair and shyt so we can't let him sleep on any of the carpets, he be trying to sleep in someone's room but we gotta kick him out. Still put his bed in the hallway so he can sleep near me at night.
