Im hearing otherwise but plans change....

Backstage News On WrestleMania 36 Plans For Becky Lynch - Wrestling Inc.

It was previously reported that WWE wanted to do Charlotte Flair vs. current RAW & SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, but they now have a new plan in mind for Lynch.

WWE is doing Flair vs. Lynch at the WWE Money In the Bank pay-per-view on May 19 because they have a new match planned for Lynch at WrestleMania 36, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. There's no word yet on who the match will be against, but word is that it's not Flair or Ronda Rousey.

Lynch is currently scheduled to be the top female Superstar booked on the WrestleMania 36 card.

It was noted that if Rousey wants to return for WrestleMania 36, then a match with Lynch isn't out of the question, but it's not the planned match.

So thats interesting that a year out, all they know is Becky will be there for sure. Thats gotta some insurance on some level. She will probably drop and pick up the belts for most of the year. Only question is will she momentum a year from now either with the fans or Vince?

Came out today..lol
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the reason that WWE is doing Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair at Money in the Bank is because they have a different match planned for Lynch at next year’s Wrestlemania 36. WWE is planning to have Lynch be the “top woman” at the show and her opponent will not be either Flair or Ronda Rousey. The belief is that if Rousey wants to return for the event, the match could still happen, but it is not currently the plan.

The original plan had been Lynch vs. Flair for 2020, which was part of the reason for the three-way at this year’s event. The idea was to try to use the match to elevate two women instead of just one, so each could carry a brand.

Ok. They still gave her a super push and ratings are pathetic even compared to last year. She isn’t a draw. Doesn’t mean she isn’t good, but it is what it is.
