And now they're here, alignment switched, main eventing Raw without a title involved at all, simply off a feud and them both being over among the women in their own rights. It's a little cool to see.

Charlotte came in with a legacy to help her and Sasha had connections but also is off doing her own thing.

Bit of a backhanded compliment considering Cody was an EVP. Means he couldn't make himself look like this big of a star either.

It's just different because he has someone of the level of a Heyman to verbally go against. Someone as established in the canon as a Roman to be going up against. And fans who know the legacy of his father. AEW is a new generation, for better or worse, and many fans don't know the classics. So that pathos is lost on them.
