I just realized over the last few years, I have only purchased a handful of Blue Rays. Back in the day, I used to cop atleast 3 DVDs a month. I still have a huge collection of DVDS. But with Streaming, my purchases of Video media has fallen by like 90%. I'm cool with Streaming because I don't have to invest so much money upfront, but what I miss are the extras that come with Video media. The outtakes, director's cuts, commentary etc.

The last Video Media I purchased was Flight. What's your experience?

Last Blu-Rays I picked up was Guardians of the Galaxy and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I used to go all out on DVDs back in the day, but now I only find myself buying maybe 4 or 5 a year. Mostly the flicks I liked over the summer or something to flesh out a series I have.

Between putlocker, Netflix, Hulu, I have most of what I need.

Ive probably only copeed 4 or 5 dvds EVER but I just started buying blurays friday and i have 7 so far

I only started because they are cheap as hell now

I could never spend $35 for a bluray movie or damn near $50 for a bluray tv show :scusthov:

the digital purchases are starting to come with the extras too..word to VUDU.

i still buy physical but i make sure they have the digital copy for travelling/backup purposes.

plus like having the physical because it looks dope on my shelf..

physical is really just for the die hard collectors now pretty much everyone is doing digital

and those b*stards get the movie 2-3 weeks before us :mjcry:
