What the fukk is a moving violation??!!? I still dont know what that is...

This one in OP was for speeding. I sped past a sheriff on the freeway and didn't know he had jurisdiction to write freeway related violations

The one before this was some dikkhead local cop that was on the rag that night. He gave me a ticket for "following an emergency vehicle too close" when a fire truck was going to a call. I was a block and a half away from him

I don't know why they call it bail, honestly. It's just a point and some dollars lost if found guilty.

Sounds like a no loss situation, I don't see why more people don't do it
So you basically contesting it thru writing instead of the court-room, someone (judge?) still decides to dismiss or make you pay. If the cop doesn't write his own report, as in this case, your shyt is automatically dismissed?

Speeding, running a light, dui etc. Basically a violation while the vehicle is moving I think. As opposed to a parking violation

Yeah, I assume a judge decides your guilt if the cop disputes your story. But so far, no cop has ever replied to any of my disputes five times running now. Best part is that it only takes like ten minutes to write something up and you can pretend like you had to go to court if you want to get a day off work

Does it say Superior Court of San Leandro though? If not, it might be what's considered a "snitch ticket"

Heard it's best in red ink. So make sure you keep a red pen in the car.

why are you getting charged 900 dollars for a speeding ticket? i got a speeding ticket like 5 years ago and it was under fifty dollars and that was in a school zone.

Moving violations fukk up your record and raise your insurance. One was a speeding ticket and the other was for supposedly following an emergency vehicle too close. Two different things, but both are moving violations For running a red light, if you're not on camera doing it, it's not considered running it if you say it was still yellow by the time you crossed the first crosswalk line of the next street

all the tickets where i am are. i've only gotten three tickets in fifteen years of driving though. one for running two stop signs, one for not wearing a seatbelt, and one for speeding.

I got a speeding ticket in my ex-girlfriend honda and it was about 200 and I had to take an online class. I was not use to driving a 4cyl, because I drive an 8cyl, I did not know I was doing 100 lol.

Nah, you gotta contest it in writing. If you try to fight it in court, there's a good chance the officer will show up since they get paid overtime when they do.

nah, what i'm saying is... he did contest it in writing and the actual officer was like "lets go to court". cuz the officer submitted the declaration shyt.
