Blazers havent made a good deal in forever
Blazers gave Nance for free, that GM worse I have seen in my life

CJ, POWELL & COVINGTON TOO.

HOW YOU MOVE ALL
OF YOUR ASSETS FOR NOTHING?

WHAT TYPE OF REBUILD IS THAT?

1) Blazers don't have a GM. The guy there now is an interim. Olshay got fired in December. And he was far worse. Note that the current owner doesn't care about the team. Paul Allen's sister inherited the team along with the Seahawks. She doesn't care about winning. Seahawks fans aren't happy with her either. I thought the plan was for her to sell the team. That's what Paul Allen wanted if he died. That said, not all is lost.

2) The trade was primarily made for cap reasons with Eric Bledsoe coming off the books. If Jody Allen authorizes using the cap room or not is another question. If she does, we'll need it to help extend Simons. Nurkic is also a free agent and we have the bird rights to Joe Ingles.

3) Covington wasn't doing much. I'm glad he's off the team.

4) Trading CJ made room for Simons to start.

5) They did CJ a favor. He wanted to go to New Orleans. They turned down other trade packages in order to send CJ where he wanted to play.

6) We have $30 million in trade exceptions this off-season. Not to mention we'll have the full mid-level exception since we're under the cap for the first time in forever.

7) I like Josh Hart. Finally a guard with some size. :dame:

8) Pelicans making the playoffs sucks since we don't get their pick. We now have to wait until 2025 and it turns into the Bucks pick if it falls outside of the top 4. However...

9) The draft is such a crap shoot nowadays anyway picks don't really matter. Jokic was picked in the second round. Giannis was picked 15th. In fact, you're seeing a lot of impact players picked outside of the lottery during the past 10 years. With one and done's, teams really don't know what their getting.

Excellent trade moves for the Pelicans, now we see why. This year building up their confidence a lot, the question is will Griffin be able to keep all the pieces together.

They made all those moves to help clear up cap space and now they are considering using it on Jerami Grant like that's really going to move the needle for them:ld:

I wanna give props to the Pelicans for their comeback victory and the fight they put in last night.

Although I think the Suns gonna sweep the floor with them, it'll be nice to see Brandon Ingram have his chance to shine in the playoffs.

This will help him get to that next level a lot of us believe he'll reach and if you ask me I believe he has a KD level ceiling.

Willie Green is a good coach who I can see becoming a great coach down the line.

Idk why I just knew we were going to win but man that's why I was so confident in this thread. I just KNEW it was our time.

 What did I tell you about those guarantees, pleihboi? :birdman:

EDIT: Maybe it is different for the Saints :patrice:, due to their historic inherent fukkery. :damn:

@b. woods

Always blowing do or die games in the clutch throwing passes to Dan Arnold and TLL

:smh: Two that royally fukked up in the 2018 NFC Title Game :snoop:

And CENSORED :pacspit: @You know damn well

He'll be everything that Covington was supposed to be.

And a projected top 6 pick (maybe Griffin? Or maybe Johnny Davis?)

I'm guessing they use that pick in a trade along with some exceptions to get someone.
