MY biggest thing I'm trying to accomplish nowadays with it is still havingt that airy drugged out sound but have the beat still sound clean. its tough.

When you dropping another beat project, your gonna carry the weight is nothing but heat.

Cloud Rap peaked like 2011-2013, not to sure of its popularity level now I really haven't heard too much new stuff. Just listened to some (2014) Main Attrakionz (The group that solidified the term Cloud Rap) :beli: might be played out. But to each is own maybe y'all could bring it back :youngsabo: I still love the slow-druggy vibe of it. For all those that wan get into it, familiarize yourself w/ Imogen Heap and similar artists.

i honestly could get a fukk about trends (no offense my breh) cuz that stuff comes and goes. like mustard run, you won't be able to go back in ten years and go "wow that shyt was some next level music :leon: " A bunch of these cloud rap beats just have that vibe where down the line you'll come back and be able to still appreciate what was going on. just my take tbh.

I feel you breh, whatever resonates w/ you is what you should do(ALWAYS). :yeshrug:
And I Agree, those pitched down chord progressions pull on your heart strings makes the music emotional/timeless and spiritual RNS. Peace

thats whats it should really be about, especially if you aint caking off this shyt heavy lol. make stuff you think is dope/stands time. 5 years from now I'll be able to bump a lot of lil b based purely on the exceptional and creative production :blessed:
