cot dauym you boys nailed the RZA shyt, Black Droog sounded more like RZA to me, but I liked Clanarchys drums a little more in general. Don't get me wrong it's still in the vain of Wu shyt.
I think Ima take Clanarchy, but just by a hair, Droogs shyt is stil super dope and they could both be on the same album.

dont really think either of these are "dark" wu style...actually feel more like wu's lighter shyt. dark wu beats to me are camay, ice cream, bells of war, a better tomorrow, can it all be so simple. but these were both dope nonetheless. hard to pick, but i give it to blackdroog.
The original criteria we were going for was soul/vocal samples. I didn't even know it was changed to be dark style or I would of came with some scary hours/cash still rules type of shyt.
Both these beats would be comfortable on any wu album though and Droogs beat is def one the best I've heard from him.

I think "dark" got added later because thats what people expect from me. I remember we originally said soul sample too. When i saw "dark" i didn't even question it. The rematch can def be straight up soul/vocal sample.

When i hear "dark wu-tang" i immediately think about the production on the liquid swords album. Specifically gold, swordsman, i got ya back....thats the album i listened to for inspiration.

Damn both of these beats were toughhhhh, Im not gonna lie i liked a bit clanarchy off of first listen. Blackdroog one is tough also.. But then i read its for a dark wutang beat.. BlackDroog def wins that cuz it seems darker etc. BlackDroog gets my vote but both were tough.
