IMO

this is the best chance the Bears have had in years

I think if my team turns out to be really good then it could be us and them

I respect them more than the Pack btw

:heh:

Didn't the Bears crush Detroit when Forte and Cutler were healthy last year? We gonna act like the Lions would have made the playoffs had those guys for Chi didn't get hurt? Detroit wasn't seeing Chicago last year let's be real.

Lions fans need to shut the fukk up, that team hasn't proved shyt. There is no reason people should have them over Chicago.

I'd like to see how the Lions look on Defense

if they can stop a potent offense then they have a great chance..

I'd be willing to bet they'd lose a close game unless J. Best comes back and is beast mode

The hilarity of this hating ass statement matched with screen name.:russ: ya'll love to hate us...even the Lions over Packers is hating.:umad:

I actually like the Bears.... Lived in Chicago for 6 years, loved the stadium, loved the history... I just got used to Bears fans with really high expectations only to be disappointed... When they got Cutler, everyone said that was the final piece they needed to get back to the big game. Didn't happen... Now they get a receiver and that was the final piece they need to get back to the big game....

:manny: You're the one who seems upset though...

I should have more coming in from the 2 Chainz bet; I'll put all of it on the Lions going farther than the Bears.

Everybody's in here acting like the Lions didn't get better in the offseason too and will actually be able to run the ball this season instead of forcing Stafford to throw it 78 times a game to win. :rudy:
I'm all about that hot corn bread too, my dude, but nothing has me ready to credit them with any type of run game yet. Don't know when they're gonna stop bullshytting and insert Reiff into the starting lineup, no idea when Best will be back (if he ever plays again), and don't know how Lesbour will look coming off a torn Achilles. And the first team has looked terrible so far in regards to rushing.

That doesn't mean the team won't improve though. While the numbers may not be as gaudy, I expect the passing attack to improve. I think Young Titus is ready to take the next step and be our #2, and Stafford should be improved as well on 3rd down effectiveness with even more weapons. Plus I think our d will be better than last year with Fairley being a regular contributor now that he's healthy. Plus a huge part of the reason why our secondary was getting raped those last few games is because of Delmas being out. That's our best player in the back 7. Still don't know how they'll perform against the run if Gunther insist on running that wide 9, but we'll see. They definitely have the tools to make a sustained run in the division, as long as the Madden curse is gentle.

Nah, I'm good. People that know football knew Cutler was no savior, not without any recievers. This time though, (sans Urlacher) we got defense, a running game, a quarterback familiar with plays and reliable threat that gets the other threats open. Jay was just having fun out there last night...but who know's maybe you are right and we are garbage. Maybe we won't stay healthy. Or maybe we are who they THOUGHT we were....and that won't make me mad at all, it'll make me money. Not just coli cash either, but i'll put that up too.:cook:
