I should have more coming in from the 2 Chainz bet; I'll put all of it on the Lions going farther than the Bears.
Everybody's in here acting like the Lions didn't get better in the offseason too and will actually be able to run the ball this season instead of forcing Stafford to throw it 78 times a game to win.
I'm all about that hot corn bread too, my dude, but nothing has me ready to credit them with any type of run game yet. Don't know when they're gonna stop bullshytting and insert Reiff into the starting lineup, no idea when Best will be back (if he ever plays again), and don't know how Lesbour will look coming off a torn Achilles. And the first team has looked terrible so far in regards to rushing.
That doesn't mean the team won't improve though. While the numbers may not be as gaudy, I expect the passing attack to improve. I think Young Titus is ready to take the next step and be our #2, and Stafford should be improved as well on 3rd down effectiveness with even more weapons. Plus I think our d will be better than last year with Fairley being a regular contributor now that he's healthy. Plus a huge part of the reason why our secondary was getting raped those last few games is because of Delmas being out. That's our best player in the back 7. Still don't know how they'll perform against the run if Gunther insist on running that wide 9, but we'll see. They definitely have the tools to make a sustained run in the division, as long as the Madden curse is gentle.
