Well, some of these are valid points, but I'm guessing, due to bad accounting, and financial duress (likely of his own making) dude deliberately avoided paying taxes. I don't think he didn't know they were due, or owed. I mean, he has a high profile, high dollar, lawyer, but he can't have a decent accountant? This the dude who almost was taken to collections because he kept a rental car for months.

I love Sigel's music, I really do, when I was a Senior in high school, there was a computer lab for a history class, everyone had a computer, I spent ALL my time following this guys trial in Spring 2004, harassing all my friends with the updates, every day. The same way I did with Shyne. I even cut him a break on the percoset, cuz I was popping them, while I was on the computer, lol, but it's enough, and everyone can see this dude is a fukk up who ruined his career, and that's it. It's been an interesting and great career at times, but this is his end. Really, it was over, professionally, when he tried to gun down Terrence Speller outside a strip club in 2003, so he spent the summer in jail, inside of the Roc the Mic tour. Most people don't get a second chance from that, but he did, and he fukked it off anyway.

TYRONE GA!
that nikka was bragging not too long ago that his show money was free money :snoop: (no it aint nikka) :rudy:

Dumb ass never set aside money from his show bread for taxes. :snoop:

If you getting like 5 stacks a show, you can't put aside a stack or 2 for taxes? :rudy:

these entertainers are idiots.

Even Gusto Ross knows to put aside bread for taxes.

Why nikkas keep saying he ruined his career tho? He did what he wuz supposed to do....put his city on,did nice numbers and never sold out....two certifid classic and two classic mixtapes....outshine many of your favorite legends....respected by his peers.....if his career is a fail what wuz these other nikkas careers y'all consider legends who can't say the same? That B Coming wuz really hot in the streets when it dropped tho, east coast rappers don't get much play here in Kansas City, but it seemed like everybody had that album and knew songs off that shyt...woulda been nice if he coulda capatalized but dude had a helluva career

Maybe ruined isn't the right word, but 'The B.Coming' was recorded, and near finished when Beans caught the 2003 case, that wasn't released until spring 2005. He gave us a classic tape, in between, sure, but the guy just couldn't it together. The 'B. Coming' should have been out in 2004, with a new album in late 2005/early 2006, one in 2007, and so on, even if SP fell apart on it's own accord, he would still have his own career. But, he had the career of a real criminal, a street guy, who wouldn't let it go, which is a shame, cuz I'd trade the court cases and bullshyt, for the 'Public Enemy' tape, and 4 more albums. His career should be like...someone along the lines of Bun B, just easing into retirement, instead he's getting ready to go into the feds.

South Philly...all day everyday!
Yo i promise u i saw this dude at the sugar house(Philly casino) bout a year ago. He was talkin bout(Yo im hurting right now. I need a come up)
:snoop:

I actually had an opportunity to meet him once and burn down one with him. I was working for this oldhead under the table at his bar. His wife used to braid Beanies hair and I went to his house to pick up my bread one sunday and there this dude was sitting on the floor getting his hair braided. Im not all starstruck, but my boss said yo lets burn a blunt and I got to smoke and I just told him I fukks with him, I was telling him my favorite songs, and that I appreciate he's putting it down for Philly, this was when he was popping, like 2000, 2001. I could tell he was wild, he had a chrome pistol sitting on the coffee table next to him, but he was a real cool and humble ass dude....funny as fukk too! Thats pretty much the only time i ever chopped it up with a rapper for real. Used to see Freeway from time to time at the probation department at Broad and Arch with his Roc Chain and leather jacket...but never talked to him....many were on his dikk trying to sit next to him and chop it up :snoop: His PO was on the 9th floor like mine and I saw him maybe 4 or 5 times going to see mine

I finished smoking with my boss and his wife and beans, dapped him, and was out :win:

jay neck feels lighter, naw tho i hate seein dude get locked again, he had a good career but just imagine what it could have been if he could have staayed out of trouble.

i bet what trips alot of these rappers up is that they probably dont know that they despite the fact they have bosses from a tax law perspective they are considered self employed and should be filing that way, anyway tho hope he can do ok for himself when he gets out.

Big misconception going on in this thread. People normally go to prison for NOT filing their taxes which is a felony (especially if you are talking over six figures). On the other hand, The IRS would usually go after your assets if you don't pay but still filed. Debtors prison is prohibited in most state constitutions.
