Jubilee is a lot more powerful than she’s shown to be, i think they said she’s just kinda “lazy” and doesn’t really explore the full capabilities of her powers. Its not really “fireworks” its manipulation of atomic particles, more similar to gambit.

I stopped watching xmen-97 to rewatch the OG series...Jubilee is pointless. Fireworks dont even do damage, they just distract the bad guy for 5 seconds long enough for a real x-men to help her.

Her powers are nuclear fission it just looks like fire works
