Be honest, do online Multiplayer games need battle royal to survive now?

Halo launched without many core features. If you look at the community complaints it aint been about battle royal, its been “why is desync not fixed?” “Where is Forge?”
“Why only 10 maps?” “Why are they charging money for the color white that was free in halo 1-5?” “Why cant i earn credits?” “Whats up with the random vehicles drops?” “Why is the ranking system so fukked?”


Every time Halo followed an industry trend, it lost population quickly after launch. So no, i dont think slapping a battle royal on Halo is gonna change anything.


The ones you keep seeing asking for battle royal are….streamers….who just so happen to get their views/money from playing battle royals. No self serving intentions tho, right?

But the halo infinite foundation is good, it lacks “content” but fortnite players have been playing on one map since inception almost. Same wiht other battle royal games.

You don’t need to do create new maps every 3 months if its battle royal

You need a BR mode to maintain relevancy and user base. You could survive on a small scale off regular MP modes but your overall numbers will keep dropping as people get tired of the same loop over and over.

BRs are a different game each time you play. Nothing in standard MP will match that feeling.

how is the foundation good when desync is happening in small ass 4v4 maps? you think the shyt gon be better with 80+ players on a bigger map?

Forge mode should have been in @ launch.. thats were they dropped the ball.. If it was at least as deep as halo5s and they had a custom game browser the community would of kept halo thriving especially giving how bf2042 and vanguard launched
